Staff Specialities and Areas of Interest

The following is a list of our staff and their clinical specialities.

Renee Burdett, MD   Medical Director.   Board-certified in both child/adolescent and adult psychiatry.  Child, adolescent, and adult psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. Diagnostic evaluations for medication and treatment options.  Special interest in ADHD, learning disorders, depression and anxiety in children and adolescents.

James J. Crist, Ph.D., CSAC.   Clinical Director. Individual, couples, and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.  Special interest in ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, addictive disorders, relapse prevention, ACOA issues, and anger management. Psychological assessment. Jacqueline C. Armstrong, MS, LPC. Child, adolescent, adult, and family psychotherapy. Special interest in working with children, ages 3 through 11, and their families with difficulties in areas such as behavior, thoughts, feelings, socialization, and familial dynamics/relationships.

Julie Fischer, L.C.S.W.   Adolescent and adult psychotherapy with specialization in the treatment of mood disorders, addictive disorders, and anxiety disorders.

Evelyn Flynn, L.C.S.W.  Therapy for families, couples, and adolescents.  Sexual abuse assessment.  Special  interest in adolescents, adult survivors of abuse, relationship counseling, stress and anger management, grief work, and women's issues.

Betty Graves, L.C.S.W., B.C.D.  Therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.  Individual, family, and couples.  Areas of interest include divorce, grief counseling, depression, family mediation, alcoholic families, women's issues, stress and anger management, marriage enrichment.  Board-certified diplomate in social work.  

Katherine B. Harlan, Ph.D.  Diagnostic assessment and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and their families. Special interest in remediation of learning disabilities and attentional deficits.

Rita Maise LCSW  Therapy for adults and mid to late adolescents for depression, anxiety, adjustment, and coping difficulties. Broad interest areas include, but are not limited to, adolescent issues, social and performance anxiety, ADHD in adolescents and adults, relational and work stress, grief work, life transitions, and supportive counseling/therapy for helping professionals and other caretakers.

Zafar A. Rasheed, M.D.  Child and adolescent psychopharmacology. Diagnostic evaluations for medication and treatment options. Special interest in ADHD, depression, anxiety, autism, mild to moderate MR, bipolar and mood disorders, ODD, and schizophrenia in children and adolescents.
